COLLEGE LIST: THE KEY TO APPLY TO COLLEGE SUCCESSFULLY

First things First – What on Earth is a College List?

- A college list is a list of colleges that a student plans to apply to.

However, this list is different for every student because they each have different careers in mind, different locations they are ok with, and different opinions about each college.

(There is no “right” or “wrong” college list – it all depends on what a student prefers.)

A college list is EXTREMELY important because there are more than 5000 colleges in the US, and students apply to 12-15 on average. This is a fraction of the colleges out there, so it is essential to keep track of which colleges interest you AND knowing your chances at each college you apply to by making a pretty detailed list.
