A heartbroken woman took to social media to express her sadness after the guy she dated for five years dumped her for a girl his mother chose for him. Through a short video posted on her Twitter account, the young lady shed tears as she recalled her experience. She pleaded with mothers to refrain from meddling in their sons' marriages. She also requested her followers to stand with her in prayer as she was going through a difficult time. "After five years of dating he left me and he is set to wed a girl his mom chose for him. Mothers, please stop this. Pray for me please," she said. Her post attracted mixed reactions from her followers with the majority sympathising with her.
Others advised her to remain calm and patient. A section of her followers asked her not to let the five years go down the drain but instead fight for her husband.
