Mukuuni Boys High School in Tharaka Nithi County closed indefinitely following a disease outbreak among the students.

County Director of Education Bridget Wambua confirmed the incident, stating that 40 students were hospitalized after displaying symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and stomachache.
