2021-02-02 07:45:37 Today's post will be about channels!

We will talk about Telegram, Instagram and YouTube channels where you can read or watch everyday news and articles or something that might interest you and improve your English.

Alright, first let's start with Telegram channels. Well, personally I follow channels like Bloomberg and Durov's Channel. My God, only two channels . Oh wait, I have one more and that's KING OF IELTS )
Well, Bloomberg, it's a news channel where you can read everyday news. It's really good and nicely written. Durov's Channel, I do follow him because I like telegram and I like reading news about telegram. He's a genius!

Alright, let's move to Instagram and YouTube now, hopefully we will find some more there .
1. The John Fish: he's a Harvard student, the first I saw him, he was coding. He also has YouTube channel. I mostly like his ideas.

2. Forbes: I think you know this, but if you don't, then it's a business magazine.
Instagram | YouTube
3. Simon Sinek: My favorite TED speaker and author. He has a lot of great books. One of them is "Find your why". You should read it and of course watch his TED talks on YouTube!
Instagram | YouTube
4. Businessweek: news about business. The last news I read was about "GameStop" its shares soared 685% this year. Those who have bought this company's shares earlier, I think, have become millionaiers.
Instagram | YouTube
5. Garyvee: He's a brilliant speaker. Just follow him and watch videos all over the social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and by the way you can listen to his podcasts on Spotify or Apple Podcasts!

I think 8 would be enough for today!

Just follow them and watch, listen and read posts, articles, videos they share!

2020-07-26 18:08:18 Why should you watch movies?

It’s not only about learning a new language but also about you and the life surrounding you.

Movies can broaden your imagination, which in turn might change your whole life into something completely different .

It can be something good or bad, but wherever this imagination takes you, you can always control it.

Let’s now name a few things that our imagination helped us to create.
1. Planes through which we can fly
2. Rockets through which we can even go to space (God, this is insane)
3. Phones (we can talk to a person almost anywhere in the world: crazy isn’t it?)
4. Internet (do whatever you want, become whoever you want, go wherever you want: another crazy crazy idea )

And actually we have thousands of those kinds of innovations. Even movies themselves came out of imagination.

Well, I think that’s why I love watching movies )

What do you think?

2020-07-20 10:44:41 Summer Work and Travel.

In this post, I will share with you brief information I know about the Summer Work and Travel program.

In short, what is a Summer Work and Travel program?
The program is mainly for university students, part-time students and colleges students are not eligible to participate. The program allows students to work and travel abroad, for example in the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom. The program is available worldwide, but each country has its own restrictions.

As the name itself says, you can only participate in this program during the summer holidays, otherwise you must be in school. In Uzbekistan, as far as I know, the Summer Work and Travel program only allows you to work and travel in the United States, and I don't know yet whether it is possible to travel to other countries through this program.

Is there an age limit?
According to the official website of the US Embassy, there is no age limit, it is important to be a university student.
Official Website of the American Embassy

Let's move on to the main part.
The cost of the program ?! This price varies in different countries. When I first participated, I paid about $ 2,800 for the program. The second time I went, it was $ 3,300. Who do you pay this money? To the sponsor! That is, you need to contact your J-1 (VISA) sponsor. Your sponsor is tasked with assisting and advising you on all matters relating to your J-1 exchange visit program.

Do you have to have a sponsor and where can you find one?
Yes, of course, you have to have a sponsor and you can find them on the official website of the US Embassy or at the link below.
https: //j1visa.state.gov/participants/how-to-apply/sponsor-search/? Program = Summer% 20Work% 20Travel

Which sponsor did I have?
InterExchange: iec.uz

When and how to register?
It is better to do it earlier, because there is a lot of demand in Uzbekistan. As far as I know, registration will open in September, and if I'm not mistaken, it will last until December. You need to register with a sponsor, which means that the most important thing here is to find one.

Is it worth the money to participate in this program?
Yes for some, no for others. But from my personal experience, this program is worth the money you spend!

What jobs can I do during the program?
Basically, you can work as a waiter or assistant cook in a restaurant. Salesman, hotel room attendant, park cashier, supplier and so on.

If you have any questions, feel free to post via @AkmaljonSupportBot!

Translating a couple of words is OK ! It’s totally ok !

But translating 3396 words is really mind killing

Progress so far:
858 of 3396 words have been translated, remaining 2538 words are waiting on the list
