DIA officer physically assaults a man in Surkhandarya
A video showing an internal affairs officer using force against a citizen in Muzrabat district (Surkhandarya region) was circulated. Reportedly, the man was drunk and his hands and feet were tied. The Surkhandarya regional DIA stated that the man violated the peace of a strange woman and resisted the officer who went on the call. The employee’s actions are being investigated.
