Skimming.

Skimming can be when you go to the beach and you slide along the water very quickly with your board. Often done on low tide and often very quickly.


Skimming also in a less exciting way and way less entertaining is when you quickly read over the text in front of you.

In testing environments you are sometimes pressed for time and have not enough time to complete the test. They will expect you to to skim and not read the entire articles.
