The recent blitz of “hit” pieces against me and #FightBack since I announced my campaign for Chair of the South Carolina Republican Party ALL originate from a hit piece initially published by Law & Crime.

Law & Crime is a propaganda media rag owned by Dan Abrams. Dan was formerly a friend of mine but I have not heard from Dan in years. Dan works for the enemy.

I usually do not take the time to take you “behind the curtain” to reveal the whole story of hit piece articles because I do not want to elevate or lend credibility to articles published by organizations who lack credibility and are not worthy of belief.

But since there is clearly a coordinated attack being launched against me by the propaganda media since the announcement of my candidacy for Chair of the South Carolina Republican Party, I feel an exception to my general rule is in order.

Below you will see email exchanges between me and the Law & Crime reporter (who only recently became a “journalist” after abandoning his unsuccessful efforts to be a “screenwriter”).

The “reporter” had actual knowledge of this truthful information about his source PRIOR to the publication of the original hit piece. Yet, he intentionally omitted and disregarded the truth when he published his hit piece. The whole TRUTH did not fit his political agenda.

In the law of defamation, this type of misconduct is described as publication of a false and defamatory statement with actual knowledge of falsity or with a reckless disregard of truth or falsity.

So I have a really good defamation lawsuit against my old friend Dan’s propaganda rag. But right now, I have more important matters before me to help my country.

Maybe I will catch up with my old friend Dan somewhere down the road.

Just sayin.’

P.S. It amazes me that the propagandists continue to ignore the body of my life’s work as a trial lawyer focusing on defamation and First Amendment legal issues. I have engaged in more than one rodeo. Check my record.
