Podpisanyye Izdaniya is a bookstore founded in 1926 in the center of St. Petersburg. A place where the traditions of the St. Petersburg book trade are mixed with modern European trends. It’s not just a bookstore it’s also a cafe.
The selection of the cafe-bookstore includes primarily intellectual literature: fiction, philosophy, history, and the theory of theater and cinema books. The owners pay special attention to the art history department and books for children of all ages. They also offer a large selection of magazines, as well as stationery - including their own production.
The cafe on the second floor of a bookstore is very cozy. Here you can try coffee prepared on grain from the St. Petersburg roasters ReSource Coffee Hunters. But if you are not a big fan of coffee there is a small wine list, which is being updated several times throughout the year.
