The Megalodon was one of the largest and strongest predatory fish in vertebrate history. Examination of the skeletal remains shows that this shark was gigantic in size, reaching a length of 22 meters and weighing 50 tons, one of the largest predators in the history of the earth.

The bite force was about 25 to 30 tons per square centimeter. It was a superpredator at the top of the food chain.
