In 1835, Halley's Comet flew close to Earth, and two weeks after its perihelion, Mark Twain was born. In 1909, he wrote:
"I came in 1835 with Halley's Comet, a year later it arrives again, and I expect to leave with it”. And so it happened: Twain died on April 21, 1910, the day after another perihelion of the comet.
