In January 2020, experts began investigating the underground passages beneath Pompeii
Managed to explore about half a kilometer of tunnels made fairly well, allegedly
about 2300 years ago. In general, it is believed that these are not just tunnels, but a whole
underground city under Pompeii. And again the question is, for what in the past carried out a huge amount of work to create underground cities and tunnels?
If we take into account the relatively "easy" to work rock, it is worth understanding that around the world, many thousands of kilometers of the total area of the so-called "underground world" and it raises a lot of questions.
And as for the tunnels under Pompeii, they are planned to be studied further, since the entire extent is still unknown for sure.
