You can be the best person in the world for someone, and that person can't appreciate anything coming from you. Not that he doesn't want to, but he can't, he doesn't have the feeling to receive your gift. Your generosity doesn't fit in his Soul. It's not your fault, it's not his fault either. But It's all your fault if you expect someone to change because you're like You when he/she is like him/her, and will remain so. Maybe life, lessons, suffering will one day show them your reality, but until then, he/she has nothing to receive with what you have to offer. The space in the Soul increases daily with love and forgiveness, but not because someone pulls it to enlarge it, but because of the growth within. It's from there, from the inside, you grow. From outside, you can only see what's already in the Soul. Where is it seen? In the way you make others feel.
Your growth barometer is in the way you treat those who love you unconditionally. In the way you treat others. In the way you treat those that wronged you.
