You stayed up late in the nights just to hear her out and give her company so that she can get over her breakup and move on towards a healthy life. You could never express how much you loved her, how it pained to see her getting into relationships where the boys didn't even deserve her and when it was over you were her last resort. You are used to doing this now, you are used to being used, you are used to be just a friend, a philosopher and a guide to her, but you can never be her lover, never.

Several years have passed. It is raining outside. You've never really liked coffee, but you are still sitting in that cafe. She is also seated just two tables away from you, with a boy who isn't even worth it. You know what's gonna happen, you know she's gonna come back to you.
