When answering part1, don't talk too much. Probably I myslef made this mistake in my exam and it could be one of the reasons of my low score on Speaking portion. But even not considering my case, it is just part1 so don't scare the examiner by telling your story. Just keep it simple stupid and relevant.

E.g. if you are asked to talk about who taught you to read, just get to the point and don't jump into the benefits of reading.
