A rare and beautifully carved early Vijayanagara period Lakshminarayana vigraha found near Shettihalli in Tumkur district, Karantaka while digging the ground for underground drainage work. The Invaders have damaged the Vigraha at the time of invasion. Notice the Dashavataras carved on the Prabhavali. The locals have kept the Vigraha in front of a renovating ancient temple.
