How the consumer plans of Russians are changing

According to survey, the consumer sentiment of Russians in May has slightly improved compared to April: the share of Russians who are going to make all planned purchases as planned has increased by about one and a half to two times in a month. In the lowest-income group, however, there are only 7% of them (versus 5% in April), but in the highest-income group there are 26% versus 19% in April.

Simultaneously, the share of Russians that are going to put off purchases has decreased significantly: it now ranges from 36% in the high-income group to 42% in the low-income group (vs. 51-57% a month earlier).
