• Schools: In Japan, students have to mandatorily clean the school premise. Doing this they become better citizens who are conscious of their civic responsibility. In our society on the other hand, we have the belief that menial work is for others.


• Media: Gandhiji was heavily influenced by the play “Harishchandra”. It instilled the value of “truthfulness” in him to which he abided his whole life.

1. Only 8% rural children were studying online regularly amidst the pandemic.

2. 55% children from marginalized sections don’t have access to mobile phones.

3. Women constitute only 1/3rd of internet users in India and 28 percent in rural areas.

4. 80% men have access to mobile phones as compared to 60% women.
