Our first speaker is Ilya Velder, a Chicago Booth Alumni. He will tell about his family relocation to sunny Portugal and share his experience in organizing life and business.
Ilya Velder is Partner of the Basinghall Partners venture fund, senior VP for FinTech at Ak Bars Bank, member of the Supervisory Board of the Innopolis SEZ. Born in Kazan, a graduate of the Faculty of Law at KFU and Chicago Booth.
Ilya worked for over 18 years in the top management of Ak Bars Bank, where he was responsible for strategy and digital transformation. Ilya is the founder of a Russian startup in the field of EdTech (sold to a strategist in 2021), a mentor and a venture investor.
