Hello everyone, the summer is in full swing and our fellow alum Pavel Zhelvis has come up with a great initiative for the community:

I am Pavel Zhelvis, UC Berkeley and University of Pittsburgh graduate.

A lot of people expressed desire to join an MBA sailing team. I am giving the basic information and if you think you might join some time, please join my chat for detailed discussion. I am a licensed skipper with 17 years sailing experience in Croatia, Turkey, Greece, Canary Islands, Palau (Pacific Ocean), Thailand and Antarctic.

To start with, I am considering forming teams for July-August-September in Croatia and October-November in Turkey. For Croatia, it will be Saturday to Saturday weekly trips, for Turkey they might be more flexible. The trips will be on non-profit expeditions styles basis. Budget wise I plan to stay within 2000 Euro per person per week in high season (July-August) net of transportation costs and less in other times. Please keep in mind, that the yacht cabins mostly have double beds, and one cabin with two bank beds at best. There are also extra sleeping options in forecabins and in saloon, alas less comfortable.
