2022-03-02 16:41:15 It’s a rare moment, when I was listening carefully for every word. And the speaker was choosing worlds carefully. Sometimes funny, sometimes tearful, but a very balanced view on the situation: where are we? how do we get here? and where are we going?

Yes, Mike has no bad feelings about crippling Russian economy, as he said during his interview at Dozhd’. He thinks Putin thinks he is on the run -> 5 wars in a row… but he miscalculated the resistance of Ukrainians. Now elites are distancing from Putin. McFaul shared the opinion of one of the Putin’s close circle: “he ruined our lives forever”. This is not an opposition, he’s ruined their future. But I would add - he ruined everybody’s lives and future. Open / Comment

It’s a terrifying moment in history.

Since 2014 more than half of our MBA community immigrated to EU, US, MENA, Asia…

If there were some doubts about stayin… now all the illusions are gone.

It’s hard to support Russia now, it’s even harder to abdicate from Russia. Neither is required, but maybe demanded to show your position. It’s a personal choice to choose one or another.

The topic of the war is super divisive because it involves tears and death from both sides.

Unfortunately it’s black & white during the war, no gradient or cherry picking.

Disclosure: I am writing this post from Durham, NC, but wife & son are still in Moscow. I wish I could spend more time & energy to help community, but until I reunite with my family I have no capacity to help others.
