Responsibilities:
•  Read and interpret contract drawings and specifications
•  Create fabrication/erection drawings and Bill of Materials for structural and misc. steel projects
•  Work closely with project Engineers and Architects to interpret/resolve design issues
•  Create and submit RFI's as necessary
•  Work closely with fabrication team to interpret/resolve layout and/or detail issues
•  Ability to check/redline the work of other Steel Detailers
•  Perform field measurements to translate into custom layouts and fabrication drawings, as required
Skills/Experience:
•  Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience preferred
•  SDS/2 experience preferred, but not required
•  AutoCAD experience
•  Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
•  Self-motivated, organized, strong communication skills
