Pakistan has passed a law limiting the powers of its Chief Justice.

The Supreme Court (Practice and Procedure) Bill, 2023, will limit the top judge's power to initiate suo moto action in cases of public interest or in cases of violation of fundamental rights.The law also restricts Judges to interfere in Parliamentary matters
