NIA all set to seize the properties of the main accused persons, in the BJP activist Praveen Nettaru murder case.
Umar Farooq and Mustafa Paichar - the prime accused persons in Nettaru's murder case have remained elusive till date, though the NIA has launched an all out operation to nab them in Karnataka and Kerala states.
In total there are eight suspected accused, who are absconding, namely - Abdul Nasir and Abdul Rehman of Kodagu, Naushad of Beltangady, Tufail, Mohammed Mustafa (₹5 lakh bounty is announced for any clue on these two), Ummer Farukh and Aboobacker Siddique (₹2 lakh bounty is announced for any clue on these two).
SDPI had announced a ticket for Shafi Bellare, an accused in the murder case for the recently held Karnataka assembly elections. The accused had contested from jail but lost his deposit.
Nettaru was hacked to death during the hijab debate, allegedly by PFI's killer squads.
