The Chinese military intercepted a US destroyer reportedly sailing near the Paracel (Xisha) Islands in the South China Sea, PLA Command said Wednesday.

Beijing claims the guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold “illegally trespassed into Chinese territorial waters.”

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg is facing serious pressure to drop murder charges against a 61-year-old NYC bodega worker who stabbed an attacker to death after meeting with various bodega advocates.

One of the advocates claimed after the meeting with Bragg that they were “very hopeful” the case would be dropped.

Jose Alba reportedly stabbed Austin Simon in the neck and torso at least five times after Simon’s girlfriend had told Alba "my n**r is gonna come down here right now and fk you up" when her payment for a snack for her daughter was declined.
