Statement by #CSTO Foreign Ministers on countering global drug threat
We, member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation:

oppose the revision or slackening of the current international drug control system and legalisation of the consumption of any narcotic drugs for non-medical purposes;

Reaffirm our intention to continue
promoting practical anti-drug cooperation with the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre for Combatting Illicit Drug Trafficking, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors and to develop cooperation with interested states as well as regional and international agencies in order to draft collective responses to the global drug threat;
Express willingness to
coordinate positions on drug-related issues in the respective bodies of the UN and other international and regional structures.
