I deleted IG from my phone yesterday since I had a lot of stuff to finish up this weekend with the new house. Spent time doing a couple 1-1 calls with you guys Friday and yesterday getting info about obstacles in your lives that are likely preventing you from succeeding in trading. It was just first come first serve since there were a lot of time constraints you all had, so appreciate all of you who reached out and messaged, it was a couple hundred people.

The top 3 reasons for struggling to succeed in trading I found that almost everyone on these calls shared, was that:

1. People don’t want to make/have the time to invest into the learning process
2. Under-capitalization, people simple don’t have a reasonable amount of money to invest in the first place, and are often times struggling financially
3. Mental/emotional stress within personal life that causes problems and negatively affects people’s trading performance


There were a few other things, but these were the main 3. I know what it’s like, I was there in summer 2016 going through the same things. Not fun. Very challenging. So I feel for you all.

My team and I are going to work on this to see if we can bring in a full time licensed psych counselor to help people solve these personal obstacles in their trading journey. The whole idea might not work, but we’re at least going to try to put systems in place to see if we can solve this.

We have a ton of clients profitable here at MFX, we literally label their names in blue once they provide 2+ months of profitable trading history, so it’s clear that the system we’ve set up for educating people on how to achieve and maintain profitability is working. It’s a pretty simple process, just takes a good chunk of time to complete everything. However… there are plenty of people I see that have certain problems within their personal life/habits/etc that prevent them from performing their best. And it sucks. Because if those problems were solved, their likelihood of succeeding in something like trading fx would be much higher.

So we will continue working on this over the next few months as we continue to pursue the endless journey of being the best, most customer-centric fx trading education company in existence.
