What do I do when I have a breakeven/losing streak? Not much of anything different. Legit I just continue doing the same thing, since I know for a fact it works long term. A lot of people start doing all this jazz like “taking a break from the charts” for a week, or “getting their psychology right” or “switching the system up since it doesn’t work anymore” etc etc.
I’ve been through this exact situation more times than I can count, and the best decision has always been “bruh, accept that your approach won’t work 100% of the time, and that’s okay - don’t change a damn thing”
And so I just continue doing what I’m normally doing lol
95% of the time it works great.
I don’t let the 5% of the time destroy my trading when its not working great.
I have big wins, and when I have losses, they are much, much smaller than the profits from the big win streaks.
I hope that me sharing this helps give you the right expectations in trading.
I’m kind of surprised I’ve even been profitable at all for like 15 months straight before seeing a losing streak lol, normally I average 2-3 down months per year. Guess the past year and a half was just really really really good for whatever reason
Now to wait for the win streak, still coming in strong with every single trade
