There is currently no stable MIUI 12.5 build for the Redmi Note 8. V12.0.2.0.RCOCNXM will be release soon for China.
Redmi Note 8 Pro will get MIUI 12.5 and Android 11 update together.
It's unclear which device will be released and when.
