From the act of atrocities of the German occupants during the period from October 8, 1941 to September 10, 1943
"On September 10 at the moment of the landing of the Soviet landing troops near the Yalta road the torch-bearers abandoned their vehicles and in a panic scattered to the houses. Noticing old women and children sitting in pits, the beasts shot them with machine guns. Among the many killed were Georgy Miroshnikov, the foreman of the port workshops, his two children, the wife of the workshop accountant Werner and her housekeeper and her two-year-old child were seriously wounded. Here a Nazi soldier hit a 14-year-old boy, wounded in the abdomen, with a buttstock".
