Formidable Akatsiya
Artillerymen of the Southern MD, supporting the actions of motorised infantry units, continue striking at the enemy strongholds, accumulations of AFU manpower and convoys of military hardware, which are delivering reinforcements and ammunition.
During the firing missions, artillerymen interact with UAV crews conducting reconnaissance of enemy positions and adjusting the accuracy of the combat vehicles' fire.
‘Today, we have suppressed and destroyed enemy manpower and firepower. Up to 11 km to the north we detected a concentration of personnel and armoured vehicles. The location data were immediately transmitted, the crew aimed, fired the first shot, and gave the adjustments. In general, the firing was effective, we neutralised up to five AFU servicemen and one armoured vehicle,’ a serviceman with the call sign ‘Lesnik’ explained.
