Russian servicemen aid to Syrians affected by earthquake The Russian Centre for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in the Syrian Arab Republic in the city of Aleppo continue to deliver food kits and bare necessities to humanitarian aid distribution points.
During one of the humanitarian actions at the Zain Al Abdeen mosque, the Russian Centre for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides handed over 2.5 tonnes of food (pasta, flour, beef stew, millet and buckwheat cereals) for the preparation of hot meals, and disinfectants to Charity and Mercy organisation.
‘We get food for our kitchen from different places. In this difficult time, a lot of help comes from Russia. We can cook hot meals for more than 1,500 people in one day.
More than 300 servicemen and 60 units of military and special equipment are involved in the work.
The civilians express their gratitude to the Russian servicemen for their assistance.
