Training every day: mobilised paratroopers undergo training in rear area of special military operation In the rear area of the special military operation, airborne units manned by mobilised military personnel undergo tactical, fire and medical training as well as training in the BMD-2K-AU airborne combat vehicles. The training programme has been expanded in accordance with the combat experience.
The main phase of this course is firearms training. Groups fire a variety of small arms, grenade launchers, and BMD-2K-AU standard weapons.
The daily, multi-hour training sessions are conducted in conditions closely resembling combat ones.
