After a complicated negotiation on an exchange, 55 servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces, Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics who were in mortal danger being in captivity, returned this night from Kiev-controlled territory of Ukraine.

All the servicemen have been transported by a military transport airplane to the Russian Federation and currently are treated in the healthcare facilities of Russian Defence Ministry. All the liberated servicemen receive necessary psychological and medical aid.

Kiev regime continues its provocations aimed at creating a possible technological disaster at Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

Over the past 24 hours, the city of Energodar and the territory adjacent to Zaporozhye nuclear power plant have been attacked by 13 artillery projectiles. The attacks were launched from positions deployed near Marganets (Dnepropetrovsk region). AFU units have been neutralised by a counter-attack launched by Russian artillery.

The radiation environment at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant remains normal.

High-precision long-range sea-based Kalibr missiles near the Malin railway station in Zhytomir Region have destroyed a large batch of weapons and military equipment delivered from the USA and European countries for a grouping of Ukrainian troops in Donbass.

Air strikes have resulted in the elimination of more than 270 nationalists and up to 52 armoured and motor vehicles. Also, 1 Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft have been shot down by fighter aircraft during an aerial battle near Belitskoe, Donetsk Region.

New footage of surrender of the last group of militants blocked at the Azovstal plant has been published.

Footage has been published of Ukrainian nationalists eliminated at positions set up in the forest belt and of Grad multiple-launch rocket systems operating while carrying out firing missions to destroy AFU positions.

The Kiev regime carried out another sophisticated action in Nikolaevka, Lugansk People's Republic, to discredit the Russian Armed Forces before the world community. During the provocation, militants of nationalist battalions and AFU serviceme fired artillery shells at residential buildings, killing and injuring civilians. New York Times journalists and Ukrainian journalists accompanying the nationalists filmed and photographed the strikes and their aftermath allegedly carried out by Russian units.

Russian servicemen continue their humanitarian mission in the territories freed from Ukrainian radicals: military deminers are clearing the liberated territories of explosive devices, and humanitarian aid has been delivered to one of the settlements in Lugansk People's Republic.
