1. SEBI is considering introducing the ASBA concept in the Secondary Market to avoid misuse of clients funds by the brokers.
2. Client's funds will be directly transferred to the clearing house and the brokers would only be able to execute the trades of their clients.
3. SEBI is in discussion in Banks, NPCI and CCI to implement ASBA in the secondary market.
4. From July 1, 2022 "Demat Debit Pledge Instructions" will be applicable.
5. With DDPI, the brokers will not be able to take Power of Attorney from their clients forcefully.
