Btw, there is this group of people I met last yeat, I liked them but I was very intimidated, and my depressed brain kept telling me they didn't like me, they were just being polite because they're friends with my partner, and such. Besides despite being very sad and self-conscious, I still tend to be super cheerful and chatty and open with people. I can't help it.
And I was pretty sure I was being rude, inappropriate, and overwhelming.
But I spent some time with them a few days ago, I found out a couple of them play Genshin Impact and we bonded over it. I was so scared about being too overexcited and too talkative and too childish, I was sure I was being annoying.
But since then they've been often texting me about their experiences in GI, asking to play together, comparing their thoughts about characters and bosses with me...
And I swear, every time they text me I cry rivers.
