Things That Will Decide The Market Today

GIFT NIFTY traded 43 points lower at 22,456 signalling that the Indian stock market is headed for a negative start today.

On Tuesday, the main U.S. stock indexes fell by about 1%, and the yield on 10-year Treasuries went up to its highest point in four months. Speculations that Federal Reserve might not cut interest rates soon further fired the sentiments.

The volatility index India VIX went down 3.56% to the levels of 11.65 indicating depleting volatility in the market.
