Lets make it more clear and easy, As we know ascending correction is always push the price down specially when it happens after the Bullish Impulse. I am expecting the same now, Price has formed nicely ascending correction after Bullish Impulse so we just need to wait for the break on lower time frame and develop any bearish structure for more confluence. This setup itself at least 500 pips reward.

As previous structure was built, "IMPULSE CORRECTION" Same structure seems to be happening here. Also price is at strong reversal zone so could be a potential long opportunity here, But for now our target will be the precious structure level 1.146500. We will see if the price reaction will support bullish we will hold the setup other wise will exit from any bearish formation.

In my previous Chart I mentioned long opportunity as structure was broke with massive bullish impulse and was looking for buy on retests. Unfortunately price didn't respect the breakout and came down closed again below the structure. ~ Now currently we can see a very strong Fib structure which is again supporting bearish momentum but this is not a good level to sell this pair because prices are already very low and approached to corrective channel support. I am looking for long opportunity also Only if I found any reversal pattern and then from the previous high 1.14800-1.15200 price range I will be looking for short opportunity after bearish structure.

Let me remind you that in my last setup I also mentioned long opportunity, This just an update with the same direction. As mentioned price broke Descending channel . I am looking for long opportunity but need to wait for the right structure to built. As mentioned if we see any bullish structure we will be going for long opportunity but be patient now as structure is not properly build which support the bullish direction for the moment. Easy target would be the last high which is also a structure level 1.38200.

Currently structure is all supporting bearish momentum in GOLD as we can see from June to August price dropped with a sharp bearish impulse and then started consolidating. In between this consolidation we saw one more sharp drop which I highlighted and again price started ascending correction. Now generally the structure Bearish Impulse and then Ascending Correction supporting bearish momentum. So I will be looking for bearish impulse soon 1870-1877 is the area in which we have to consider for short. Will look for bearish structure from this zone for possible short entry.
