We have increased the amount of cash assistance for households on ComCare Short-to-Medium-Term Assistance (SMTA) and Long-Term Assistance (LTA). From August 2022, one-person households on ComCare LTA now receive $640 per month, while larger households will receive more. SMTA beneficiaries will also receive more cash assistance and support for their utility expenses.
Individuals and families in need can apply for ComCare support online via the SupportGoWhere portal. Visit go.gov.sg/smta for details in English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil. Those who are unable to apply online can approach their nearest Social Service Office for assistance.
