Scientists say that these fantastic mountain formations formed over 200 million years from the sand dunes, gradually transforming into a harder rock. The effects of wind and rain have caused their bizarre shapes.
Despite their age, the "peaks of small waves" inside the gallery are very fragile. That is why it is not easy to get here - the local authorities give out no more than 20 entrance tickets a day, which, in addition, must be won in a lottery...
