Huangshan
It's not just a mountain. They are almost a deity. More than 20,000 poems and countless paintings have been dedicated to them, even leading to the creation of the Huangshan Mountain School of Painting.
The famous Huangshan Pines, whose silhouettes can often be seen in traditional paintings, grow on top. These trees are very small in size, but many of them are many hundreds of years old. They grow on the bare rocks, withstanding hurricanes in the fall, frost and snowfall in the winter, and sweltering heat in the summer.
