ATTENTION EDUCATORS! If you are receiving emails where your sick leave has been refused then you need to respond with the following;

1. On what medical grounds am I being denied?

2. Under who's medical authority am I being denied?

3. Supply me with the identity and qualifications of the persons making these decisions on my behalf and interfering with the privacy of my doctor/patient relationship.

If you are not being paid annual leave or holiday and you are entitled to it then you also need to write to your employer and cc HR and ask;

1. On what legal grounds am I being refused my holiday entitlements?

2. Under who's legal authority has this been authorised?

3. Can you please provide me evidence of where it states in my contract that I am not entitled to holiday pay?
