“RTÉ is set to be hauled before the Oireachtas Media and Culture Committee after Dublin Pride severed its ties with the State broadcaster over what the campaign group described as 'anti-trans' discussions on Joe Duffy’s Liveline programme.”
The nature of these imported gender ideologies is that they become, for all intents and purposes, forms of counterfeit nationality. Ones that naturally compete with the legitimate core nationality. They are promoted from abroad for exactly that reason. More than simply an activity or an orientation or even an identity, this phenomenon becomes a form of dual citizenship. To whom are you loyal? To whom can the regime count on? What is at stake is not “sexual liberation” but political power.
It's when a narrative threatens to unravel that you see most clearly the power these groups have in our society. It's when a celebrity strays off message or a talk show segment gets out of hand. That's when you see power openly intercede. When push comes to shove, they have another country to which they swear allegiance, another flag, laws foreign to yours and courts higher than yours. They have lobby groups and NGOs and all the apparatus of a state within a state.
And like any citizenry or nationality they have their own territorial interests which they advocate over all other interests. Everything rooted and resilient in the core culture, they attack, uproot and undermine. But most of all they target education and the young. Because that is where they seek to remake the world in their image.
