2021-03-16 23:06:47 A “Council for Civil Liberties” spokesperson was on Newstalk earlier saying this didn't technically count as a protest and was just a show of solidarity with the people in London. Because of course... civil liberties begin where the liberal status quo ordains.

The arguments put forward in defence of the protest could have applied to thousands of other causes. This one just happened to be fashionable. You know you have a fashionable cause when the media takes you at your word.

Naturally the organisers, “socialist feminist group Rosa” fully back an atomised, fractured, low-trust, post-national, multicultural Ireland. Does anyone really believe that Rosa's vision for this country will be safer for women or anyone else?
