US “Unsafe” Encounter With Iran In Strait Of Hormuz
US Navy officials confirmed an “unsafe and unprofessional” encounter between its forces and three Iranian vessels in the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, with a warning flare fired by USS Sirocco.
The Navy released footage of the incident, which Tehran did not acknowledge publicly, claiming the Iranian fast crafts “did not meet international standards of professional maritime behaviour”.
