Air France has suspended two of its pilots after they started a physical altercation in the cockpit during a flight earlier this summer, according to the Swiss La Tribune news outlet, which found out recently.

The pilots grabbed each other by their collars after one apparently hit the other. The cabin crew eventually intervened and one of the crew members was left in the cockpit to watch over the two pilots, said the spokeswoman.

She noted that the incident “ended quickly” without affecting the safety of the flight, which proceeded in routine fashion after the altercation was resolved. The official told La Tribune that the pilots have since been grounded and are awaiting a decision from management.

Turkish Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati told local businesses on Friday there was no cause for concern regarding potential US sanctions over their dealings with sanctioned Russian entities.

On Friday, the US Justice Department is expected to publicize a redacted version of the affidavit which led to the recent search of former president Donald Trump's Florida home by the FBI, despite prosecutors wanting to keep the affidavit completely sealed.

The FBI carted away over 20 boxes with 11 sets of classified government records, including some labeled “top secret”, leading Judge Bruce Reinhardt to agree to the government’s request to redact the document.

Reinhart ordered the document to be released by noon (16:00 GMT) Friday.
