Collective West begins supplying artillery to Kiev
It is assumed that the Ukrainian army will receive:
- 90 M777 howitzers and an unknown number of M142 HIMARS,
- 4 M777 howitzers with corrected ammunition,
- an unknown number of AS-90 self-propelled artillery units,
- 12 CAESAR wheeled units,
- up to 24 German PzH 2000 SAUs,
up to 24 M109A4BE SAUs,
- 20 2S1 Gvozdika SAMs and several BM-21 Grad MLRSs,
- 20+ DANA and DANA M2 SAMs, as well as several RM-70 ("Grad" based on Czech) MLRS,
- 18 Zuzana wheeled SAU,
- 9 Soviet D-30 howitzers.
The total number of artillery pieces pledged by
Europe, the United States, Great Britain, and Canada exceeds several hundred units.
