Plea against Tejpal's acquittal in rape case adjourned to July 29

The Goa bench of Bombay HC on Thursday adjourned the state government's plea challenging journalist Tarun Tejpal's acquittal in a 2013 rape case to July 29. The bench allowed the government to amend its plea. While acquitting Tejpal in May, Sessions Judge Kshama Joshi had said that the woman didn't show "normative behaviour" of a sexual assault victim.
