Our dear Iraqi sons..
In this tense and ambiguous situation, and in light of tensions and internal strife, we can only offer our words to every listener, and we call on all tense political and community parties to withdraw weapons and stop all convulsions and targeting, which have so far resulted in casualties and injuries in various regions of Iraq, which has hurt us and hurt our hearts.
Our dear children..
Parties and community events are expected of you to build Iraq, not to fan the flames, and that political convulsions, no matter how loud and intense, are better than bullets and hatred that contribute only to more destruction, bereavement, widows and orphans, and that God Almighty looks at every word, and that history is merciless, whoever is expected to provide the best he can to build his society, is not expected to draw his weapon and direct it to his brother, who shares his nationality, religion, creed and geographical area.
O sons of Ali and Hussein, your blood was mixed with the liberation battles against terrorism, and you belong to the same noble tribes, and you raise your hands in prayer under the same domes, except from what it seemed And how can political convulsions do this to the inhabitants of one house
You are from one father and one mother, and at a time when political division can be understood, but it is illogical or humane, and indeed it is not religious by any means, that there should be a war between brothers, none of you think that the bullet coming out of his rifle is going to another, but is launched from his weapon to his own chest, and from brother to brother.
We call on all our children to dialogue, to calm down, and to carry fire extinguishers against the fires of strife, even if it is necessary, silence is the first, and sitting at home is more beneficial and pious.
