Thus, while you create your collections, Nike has bought the creator of collectible NFT for metaverses

The company said its purchase of RTFKT Studios is another step Nike is taking toward digital transformation.
Terms of the deal remain unknown.

Yet, CEO John Donahoe stated their main goal is to develop an innovative creative community and expand their digital presence.

What I like about Nike is that on their website you can create your own sneaker design.
And imagine you created it and when you buy a sneaker, you get the same NFT (or vice versa).

What’s most interesting and what I expect is that clothing from well-known companies in the digital world, say to walk in sneakers from Nike in the metaverse, is enough to download there your NFT.

It can be compared to the change of clothes of the main character in the virtual world in the movie "Ready Player One".

Hi everyone!
Wanna share another way to create your NFT.

Not so long ago I discovered the Rarible platform.
Here everything is the same as on OpenSea, rather you can put tokens for sale absolutely free!

Just go to the site and connect MetaMask.
After that, click on the "Create" or press it after you have studied the site and looked that in general put up for sale.

Choose a variant of creation - you gonna have NFT for one person or for the community?

In both cases the continuation is the same, you choose how the price is to be put up.
Whether it be fixed, in the form of open bidding or bidding for a certain amount of time?

You can also add content to be unlocked after purchase.

You add a name, a description and upload it to the site.
You may have noticed the 2.5% commission, it is only charged after you buy your NFT.

Here's your homework, make your NFT and prepare a link to it to share the art with everyone.

FreeRossDAO has acquired Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht's NFT collection

The decentralized autonomous organization
purchased the NFT collection for 1,446 ETH (~$6.2 million)
In fact, the auction was won by user yfimaxi, a representative of that organization.
However, he had issues with the multi-signature and they placed the bid on behalf of the organization.

Recall that in November, Ross Ulbricht convicted of running a darknet market, released his NFT-collection.

It includes 11 drawings created in different periods of his life and an animation clip as a collaboration with the NFT-artist.

Keanu Reeves revealed his attitude towards NFT, metaverses and cryptocurrencies.

He is not a supporter of anything created by tech corporations like Meta, but he "holds a little bit of cryptocurrency."
That is what he told The Verge in an interview.

He also added that he has nothing against Mark Zuckerberg and his company, but the metaverse concept itself, is much older than the idea of Meta.
And the bigtech company's virtual world sounds more like a dystopia.

The amazing actor also said he received some cryptocurrencies as a gift from a friend, but doesn't trade them, just holds them.

And when asked about NFTs, he said he had never been seriously interested in the assets.
The journalist stressed that they cannot be faked, to which the actor replied that "they can be easily reproduced".

A little earlier, on Nov. 30, Warner Bros. released its NFT collection in honor of "The Matrix: Resurrections."
All 100,000 tokens sold in a matter of hours for $50 each.

Is there a future for NFT?

Definitely yes, cause they have a great potential.
Right now these assets are focused on works of art, games, and cryptocurrencies.

However, in the future they can be applied to copyright, intellectual property rights.

What are those ways?
You write an article and secure your right to it in the NFT form.
Sell the ticket and it cannot be forged or resold.

You will also be able to confirm the ownership of a physical asset, such as a house.
And in the future NFT may find application in certification, software licensing and even birth and death certificates.

All information is stored in a digital wallet in which evidence of all certificates, assets and licenses we own can be collected.

How do NFTs function?

Bitcoins and other Ethereum-based ERC-20 tokens are interchangeable.
The standard for Ethereum irreplaceable tokens is ERC-721.

NFTs can be created on other blockchains supporting smart contracts and currently the ecosystem is expanding.

Non-exchangeable tokens and their smart contracts allow for the addition of owner identity, secure links to files and more.
Yet their ability to prove digital ownership of an asset is still an unattainable luxury for us.

After all, we're essentially just at the beginning of the road.
Smart contract technology is still under development.
And if you take blockchain, we have a lot to look forward to.

I mean, every project develops its own version of blockchain, and there is no common standard.
It takes time to bring together all the decentralized applications and platforms to manage and create NFT.

If something seems unclear to you, share it in the comments and we'll be sure to break it down!

Hello cryptocurrency collectors!

Lately I keep seeing comments such as "still haven't figured out how it works"
Thus, once again tell you in detail what it is, how it works and what are the future of NFT applications.
Here we go!

NFT (non-fungible token) are unique cryptographic tokens linked to digital content, providing proof of ownership.

Non-interchangeable tokens — another name for NFTs, such assets contain information recorded in smart contracts.
You can read more about what smart contracts are here.

While you can exchange $1 for another, NFTs cannot be directly interchanged as no two NFTs are the same.

These tokens are attached to specific assets.
As an example, they are used to prove ownership of digital objects (skins in a game or digital drawings of kittens).
It happens that an artist after selling you a digital painting may send you a physical copy of it.

Share in the comments, is it clear to you?
If you still have questions, write them

Another Beeple NFT-creation sold for $29 million.

Digital artist Mike Winkelmann, better known as Beeple, plans to "improve displayed works of art".

As you may recall, it was he who sold the painting "Everydays: The First 5000 Days" for a record $69.3 million.

His latest work is a life-size three-dimensional sculpture and NFT.
Christie's auction describes it as a "kinetic video sculpture" - four video screens, polished aluminum, a mahogany frame, two media servers and infinite video with matching dynamic NFT.

The author himself speaks of it as "the first portrait of a human born in the metaverse".
What is also interesting is that he intends to change this work over time.

As Christie's notes, Beeple will maintain remote access to the physical element to ensure proper functionality.

Likewise, the changes the author might bring to the work depend on his mood and may reflect his thoughts.

Would you like a next-generation "sculpture" for yourself?

The Chinese authorities considered NFT and meta-universes a possible fraud.

NFTs are likely to be a bubble, and most people have no clear idea what meta-universes are, they explained.

They could be a pyramid-type fraud and money-laundering scheme, the China Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission warned in an official blog post.

Their popularity is growing, and it's causing people to spend huge sums of money to buy virtual homes by trading NFTs.
In their opinion, trading platforms are provoking a hype around this sphere.

The blog also noted that on the site The Sandbox virtual land was sold for $4.3 million.

However, the sites themselves deny this, stating that the number of houses is limited and this causes demand for them.
