2023-06-27 19:47:17 New Stable Release is up - 27th June 2023 (Android 10-13)

Changelog:
- Fixed the addon.d script losing a file when the approximate match is found
- Skipped building overlay directory in system unnecessarily
- Remove the AOSP version of QuickAccessWallet
- Elite Builds - Auto upgrade the elite.config to latest version including debloater changes
- Drop support for android 12 as most people use android 12.1. You can still create User Builds for android 12.

Note:
- it is dirty flashable over previous build, recommending everyone to update to this build.
- we're trying very hard to allow dirty flashing without issues, however, I would still suggest backing up everything before flashing to make sure you don't lose anything if things go south.

- Personally Validated Builds: Ensuring packages don’t conflict for a seamless user experience, you don't run into errors while flashing the builds just because the chosen combination of pacakges wasn't right.
- Device Specific Builds: Rom Devs can establish a device specific folder for their ROM depending on the configuration of the device, allowing users to download a build tailored to their device. Instead of suggesting separate NikGapps core and addons, Rom Devs can recommend a single NikGapps-DeviceName-arm64-1x-YYYYMMDD-signed.zip file with all components included.
- Name in the Recovery: A special badge of honor (Coming soon).
- Ability to Debloat with your .config: You will be able to debloat your system using your personalized config (Coming soon).

- Fixed the issue when dirty flashing leads to duplicate entries in addon.d
- Control the overlays through code - better control over configurable features
- Fixed Pixel Setup Wizard (Android 13) (find the addon to flash)
- Make the addon.d logs better readable while restoring
- Fixed the Pixel Launcher crashes on ArrowOs
- Improvements in installer script
- Config upgraded to v28

2023-05-29 06:27:28 New Release is up - Android 10-13 (29th May 2023)

Changelog:
- Corrected the issue with the incorrect calculation of space after the installation is completed.
- Implemented a process to delete unnecessary files before restoring, ensuring sufficient space for gapps during OTA updates.
- Optimized the installation sequence by installing apps with the largest size first, starting after Core/CoreGo is installed.
- Resolved the problem of Velvet, GoogleClock, AndroidAuto, Gboard, and GoogleSounds not restoring after an OTA update.
- Improved log file management by providing detailed information when copied over OTA updates.

Note:
- Make sure to backup your data before updating to the latest version.
- Since the installation order is changing with this release, I suggest you clean flash this build. Otherwise, there is a chance of apps getting moved to a different partitions and that will lead to crashes.

2023-04-08 04:43:14 New Hotfix Release is up - 8th April 2023 (Android 10-13)

Changelog:
- Fixed the config detection - those who did not see their config changes reflecting in the last build, please try again
- Fixed the 2nd app in order failing to install when the 1st app was uninstalled
- Fixed the issues with dirty flashing NikGapps resulting into skipping some apps, should almost never skip installing app upon dirty flashing NikGapps.
- Fixed the issue where DocumentsUI was added to the GoogleFiles package when it is not supported (Android 10)

- You can always take a backup and dirty flash the gapps, if you run into issues, you should try clean flash

2023-04-01 02:34:31 For those facing issues with NikGapps on QPR2 (march security updates) - I suggest you try flashing the latest canary release (31st March) which includes the fixes we need from Gapps end.

2023-03-09 15:24:43 New Stable Update Release - 9th Mar 2023 (Android 10-13)

- Fixed the select text issue with Pixel Launcher
- Fixed Live Captions (ability to download languages and detect captions)
- Fixed At a Glance widget not showing up weather in Pixel Launcher
- Fixed the issue where dirty flashing ran into storage space issue
- Enabled call recording with google dialer from gapps end (still require server support)
- Reordered the addon.d scripts to execute core apps first (some of the scripts will start with 5, 9 and 10)
- Redefined the variants (omni, stock, full, go) check the website for their definition in here
- Added SettingsServices and PrivateComputeServices to PixelLauncher (android 12/12.1/13)
- Bump the config version to 26

Note:
- You need to clean flash to get the features working!
- The variants are updated, check the website for their updated definitions
- You can still create custom builds if your ideal package differs from the predefined ones.
